Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said it would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Gavin is 2!

My baby boy..... Is all grown up!
On September 9th my baby turned into a little boy. I am still wondering where those two years have gone?! He is talking all the time now. He repeats things I say and can ask for things he wants. He also does everything by himself and doesn't want his mommys help anymore. He knows where his eyes, nose, mouth, ears, hair, chin and belly are. He sings twinkle twinkle little star. He dances everytime he hears music. He loves to be outside. He can now open the pantry door, turn on the light and get whatever his little heart desires. He loves to play with other kids and is so good at sharing. He thinks his uncle Taylor is so cool and will walk around grandmas house calling out for him. He can be so sweet one minute and a monster the next. His kitty is his best friend and we take him everywhere! He loves his daddy so much and tries to do everything the same. I am so proud to be his mom!

Weeks before Gavins birthday we decided to get him a Powerwheels Ford Truck that would be from us and both sets of grandparents. We ordered it online with plenty of time for it to get here before his birthday. I had this perfect picture in my head of him waking up on his birthday and coming downstairs to his truck. I could just see his face lighting up. Everyday I checked the status to see how close it was and the day before his birthday we still hadn't recieved it. I started to panic because I had to give him something to open when he woke up on his special day. We went and bought a toy car just so he had something! I checked the status again the morning of his birthday at 7 AM and it hadn't arrived at the store, I checked it again at 9 AM and it was there! I took Gavin to Little Gym and Courtney rushed to Walmart to pick it up and take it to my parents so my dad could help him put it together. He wasn't able to drive it until the end of the night but at least it made it for his day. His party was at 6:30 PM outside at our house and we were expecting 32 guests. At about 5 it started pouring rain! At 6:15 it stopped... we hurried to dry everything off and set everything up before everyone started to arrive. It turned out to be a great night and Gavin had a blast. I think his 2nd birthday was the best day in his life so far! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us!

We had a Cars themed birthday party! Here is his cute cake!

His buddy Trex

He wasn't so sure about singing Happy Birthday

Love this picture...can you tell they are sisters?

Gavin got spoiled by everyone!

He finally got to drive his new truck!

I think Gavin and Trex look just like their daddies in this picture

I can't believe I have a two year old that likes to wear his hat backwards and drive his truck!

He got this slide from his uncle Taylor and its now one of his favorite things to do

Robyn had a birthday dinner for Gavin and Sadie. It was a carnival theme.

He loves Taylors motorcycle
