I want to write a few things about Gavin that I want to remember. He is growing up so fast. He has his own opinion and agenda and no one can stop him. He loves his sister so much. He always has to know where she is and what she is doing. He just had his first ear infection. It was really sad. He kept asking me to kiss his ear better. He has figured out that he can watch Cars or monster truck videos on YouTube. I don't like him spending a lot of time on the iPad or computer but it amazes me how smart he is and how well he can navigate his way around. He has been on a crazy sleep schedule. He stays up until midnight and then sleeps in late and then he takes a late nap and it starts all over again. I think this last week we finally have him back to a normal schedule. He is so funny when he gets ready for bed he has to have his kitty, blanky and cup. He also thinks if he tells us he is hungry when its time for bed we will let him stay up later so he will sit in the pantry and tap his finger on his chin like he is thinking of what to eat but really he is just wasting time so he doesn't have to go to bed. He is so sweet to me. He always says "thanks mommy" or "great job mommy" and the other day he said "mommy, you are so so cute!" He is obsessed with anything Cars and he runs around the house telling me he is "wiping queen" (Lightening Mcqueen) and he has to race. He loves to eat BBQ chips, chips and dip, pancakes and hot dogs. He also loves to help cook. His new thing is to get the toaster out and cook an Eggo waffle. Half the time I can't get him to eat it he just wants to cook it. Every day he is a little more grown up and even though he can be a little monster he is the sweetest and best little boy. I wouldn't trade him for the world.
Sleeping on the couch because he was up too late
Packing his stuff up to bed
I can't keep him out of my laundry piles when I am trying to fold them
Sometimes being a big brother is better than being a superhero....
