I am really behind on this...
Gavin is now 16 months old. He got his 4th tooth on Jan. 8. He is growing up so fast! He can now feed himself with a fork. It makes me sad cause he thinks I shouldn't help him at all anymore. I have realized I have to be so careful with what I do infront of him because he is a little sponge and if he sees something once he doesn't forget it. He follows everything I do. I make us german pancakes for breakfast almost every morning, so he now has to mix all his food with his fork like I mix the batter. A few weeks ago Court and I were home for the day and Gavin was watching a movie in his room while we were in our room. I can't latch a gate at the top of our stairs so I just prop it up and listen for him to knock it down. On this day I checked on him a few minutes before I heard the gate, I thought he was trying to go down the stairs so I ran to the hall and found him at the top of the stairs with a pudding in one hand and a spoon in the other.... He had quietly laid the gate down, slid down the stairs and got in the pantry to get a pudding and then into the top drawer to get a spoon then he crawled all the way back up the stairs and as he went over the gate I found him! I had to just laughed because he was smart enough to do it! His new favorite movie is Pinnochio, he LOVES it! He runs to his room and yells at me to turn it on. Every day he makes me smile. He is the best little boy!
